Job Title: Senior Specialist, MERL, Forced Labor Programs

International Justice Mission (IJM) is an international non-governmental organization that protects the vulnerable from violence by partnering with government authorities to rescue victims, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors, and strengthen criminal justice systems. IJM is a global team of lawyers, social workers and other professionals with 19 field offices across the globe, including multiple offices in Southeast Asia.
Job Brief
IJM is seeking a Senior Specialist to provide cutting-edge leadership to IJM’s forced labor programs in Southeast Asia in the areas of monitoring, evaluation, research and data analysis. The ideal candidate is a leader who brings significant experience spearheading innovative approaches to measure impact and use data to influence decision makers and make timely course corrections. She or he will guide a team of professionals to ensure IJM is the world’s leader in showcasing the impact of criminal justice system response to violent crime committed against the poor. The candidate will increase collaboration, consensus and impact by initiating data-related partnerships with external stakeholders, equipping and partnering with governments to better track and share data, and engaging in knowledge sharing with IJM’s global MERL professionals. This position reports to the Regional Vice President, Forced Labor Programs, Asia Pacific, and is based in Bangkok, Phnom Penh or Yangon with regular travel across the Southeast Asia region. IJM will consider remote working arrangements for qualified candidates based elsewhere in the region.
