Job title:                             Project Officer

Location:                            Bangkok, Thailand

Summary:  Project Officer will co-report to Country Director of AIP Foundation Thailand and Business Development Manager of AIP Foundation Headquarter in Vietnam (AIP Foudnation HQ) for the related responsibilities. The responsibilities listed below are inclusive, but not exhaustive, of the role.  It is reasonable to assume that additional tasks will be requested, as and when needed.

This role will be appraised by Country Director of AIP Foundation Thailand.

 

Responsibilities

Description

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out implementation of activities for one road safety project in Thailand
  • In charge of monitoring and evaluation for one road safety project in Thailand
  • Liaise between AIP Foundation Thailand and AIP Foundation HQ in order to provide timely ad-hoc updates, information and reports upon request by CEO or other Departments including Development, Communications, M&E, Finance and Programs in other countries within a given deadline.
  • Ensure all procedures as per Framework are aligned with organization standard and report directly to Business Development Manager of AIP Foundation HQ; Support Country Director and Operation & Program Officer to make sure standards and procedures are being complied with.

 

Project Implementation 

 

 

Lead the development and implementation of project in Thailand

  • Manage all project implementation, monitoring and evaluation activities
  • Organize project events to ensure they run efficiently and effectively
  • Manage relationships with school directors and other staff to ensure successful project implementation
  • Ensure all program administrative requirements are completed
  • Manage budgets for one road safety project
  • Manage reporting requirements, including report writing and submission as per the deadlines
  • Collaborate with Thailand program team as required

 

Assist the implementation of public awareness campaigns in Thailand

  • Liaise with monitoring and evaluation contractors

 

Build and manage stakeholder relationships

  • Assist in establishing and strengthening working relationships with national and local governments and stakeholders including parent groups, police and other social groups
  • Assist in creating and maintaining networks with appropriate celebrities & well-known personalities to help in public campaigns
  • Assist in nurturing national and local media and press networks to deliver focused campaign messages

 

Database records and management

Constantly save, update and share all projects data to country and central server system

Development

 

  • Support fundraising activiteis as required
  • Attend meetings with potential donors as required

 

Others

  • Collaborate with Thailand program team and carry out other tasks as required.

 

Requirements: Qualifications, skills and experiences

  • University degree
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role at the international organization
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Ability to prioritize while managing expectations
  • Flexible attitude
  • Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Work well under high pressure
  • Deal promptly with result oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and time management capability
  • A dynamic and professional individual with initiative
  • Advanced computer skills, especially MS Office applications
  • Commitment to AIP Foundation’s mission, vision and core values
