Working with an international network of dam-affected people, grassroots organizations, environmentalists, human rights advocates, and others who are committed to stopping destructive river projects and promoting better options. IR has expertise in big dams, energy and water policy, climate change, and international financial institutions. We support partner organizations and dam-affected people by providing advice, training, and technical assistance, and advocating on their behalf with governments, banks, companies, and international agencies.
ABOUT THE POSITION
International Rivers is recruiting a Program Finance Coordinator for the Southeast Asia Program based in Thailand. The Program Finance Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the program’s accounting, finances, budgeting and reporting process in line with International Rivers’ and donors’ policies and requirements. The role will also review, monitor and provide capacity-building for partners on financial management and reports. The role requires close coordination with International Rivers’ Southeast Asia Program staff and the Finance Team, who are based outside Southeast Asia region.
