Program Development – Advocacy
Responsibilities
Engaging Proactively with the deinstitutionalization/ care reforms discourses and processes in the country, pushing through the advocacy messaging of the federation
Developing the national advocacy strategy and action plans of the member of association, in alignment with the regional advocacy strategy , and ensuring its timely and effective delivery ( Including budget tracking ).
Coordinating Research studies, assessment and other forms of evidence building and information collection for various advocacy initiatives.
Networking and building strong partnerships with government, UNICEF , non-government organizations and other stakeholders relate to child rights / child protection and childcare, and the advocacy work of the member of association.
Promoting the empowerment of children in care
Building the advocacy capacity of the member of association through the internal training
Coordinating and attending internal and external workshop,meeting, consultations, field visits and other event
Requirements
A degree in Social Sciences, law, education or relate field.
Age between 30-35 years
Experience in child right or advocacy
Analytical and critical thinking skills.
Fluent in English both spoken and written
Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint program etc.
Willing to travel to location and occasionally travel outside of the country.
At least 2-3 years of experience working in Advocacy, Child safeguarding
