Job Title: Job Coach
Responsible to: Head of Education
Salary: 30 - 60,000 THB per month (depending on experience)
Main role: To be aware of the individual strengths and weaknesses of each trainee and support them in becoming independent, improving their life skills, and promoting skills for employment.
The role of the job coach will include the following:
- Working and supporting trainees in a range of work environments including the training centre, business service centre, coffee shops, and on internship and employment placements
- Working in collaboration with the job coach team to plan curriculum, design and create resources, implement interventions and decide upon individual targets for each trainee
- Designing work sessions that are accessible, motivating, and purposeful with clear outcomes
- Collecting evidence and data in line with the trainees ASDAN programme
- Collecting trainee data using a combination of our in house built tools to track progress
- Writing and contributing to progress reports for each trainee every 12 weeks, in addition to meeting with parents every 24 weeks
- Helping to ensure there is weekly (daily where necessary) communication with families whether by email, phone or social media (Seesaw)
- Collaborating with coffee shop team members to ensure trainee support is sufficient, train coffee shop staff, and help to organise trainees for events
- Engaging and delivering training for employment partners
- Joining visits from other schools and general visits to the centre
- Being proactive in creating resources and planning that you believe can support the trainees
- creating an environment of acceptance and understanding

- Helping to promote Steps mission in the community
