Winrock International (Winrock) is a non-profit organization that works around the world to increase economic opportunity, sustain natural resources, and protect the environment. The USDA Thailand Regional Agriculture Innovation Network (RAIN) is a five-year project, implementing by Winrock International, starting from 2022 to 2027 aims to promote production, trade and increase climate resilient in six agricultural value chain crops in Thailand namely: rice, cassava, coconut, durian, mangosteen, and longan. The project will be identifying climate-smart agricultural practices and technologies and will select and promote up to 30 technologies and services in the value chains focusing in 11 provinces in Thailand (Chaiyaphum, Chanthaburi, Chumphon, Chaing Rai, Chaing Mai, Khon Kaen, Lampoon, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Sri Thammarat, Ratchaburi and Samut Songkram). Project can provide support on conducting studies, grant for developer, capacity building program as well as financial mechanism to promote the adoption.

POSITION SUMMARY:

RAIN is seeking an organized individual to join our team as the Project Coordinator. The goal of this role is to manage data and information related to selected technologies and services and keep track on progress of piloting and scaling up. The responsibilities include supporting coordination, data management and integration of equality and social inclusion into the activities of Technical Team. Day-to-day activities include planning on data management and follow up with team members, partners, firms, consultants to support progress tracking system. The Project Coordinator will also be the focal person to coordinate integration of gender, equality, and social inclusion (GESI) into the project implementation. Series of training on GESI will be available for he/she soon after successfully on board. Candidate with no experience on GESI but is willing to learn or has been advocating on social equality is welcome to apply. Exposure in coordination with stakeholders in agricultural value chain is an asset.

This position is open for Thai National only.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Providing expertise to support all technical activities (identification, validation, piloting, scaling, and knowledge sharing), identifying risk, reviewing activities plan, progress report and advice on integration of GESI into activities and implementation plan.
2. Working closely with Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) team, on monitoring the targets
3. Support data management in planning, collecting, updating, cleaning, and organizing with appropriate tools for supporting decision process of technology selection, piloting, and scaling. Ensuring that accurate data and reports are produced in a timely manner for each innovation.
4. Support validation/testing/piloting process for responsible innovations in coordination with partners
5. Support coordination on other activities of the project as see appropriate.
6. (Potential) Specific assignment as the coordinator for specific innovations (to be identified) with key elements of big data management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• An undergrade degree or graduate degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Data Science, Social Science, Political Science, Laws or other related fields.
• Experience in coordination supporting international teams or development sector.
• Experience in data management, research review, organizing information, project monitoring system tool.
• Good interpersonal skills, good communication skills, organized and proactive.
• Fluency in English in professional expression, reading, writing, and speaking.
• Working level of computer skill (e.g. MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point, Canva etc.)
• Experience or exposure in the agricultural sector would be an advantage.
• Availability to travel to up-country and sometimes to the countries in the region.
