Background/IRC Summary: The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is at work in over 40 countries and 26 U.S. cities helping people to survive, reclaim control of their future and strengthen their communities. The IRC has been operating in Thailand since 1975 and currently provides assistance to displaced persons in Tak, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi and Mae Hong Son provinces.
Job Overview/Summary:
Under the direct supervision of Human Resources and Administration Manager, the Human Resources Assistant -is responsible for the provision of efficient, high-quality operations and program support to IRC staff in Tak Province and provides HR administrative support for Camp Based Assistant (CBA)to help programs and activities run smoothly.
Major Responsibilities:
Hiring and Letter of Understanding (LoU) Management
CBA file documents Controls and Database
Other responsibilities
Key Working Relationships:
Position Reports to: Human Resources and Administration Officer Manager
Other Internal and/or external contacts:
Internal: Human Resources Officer, Operations and Programs staff, and CBA focal point in 3 Tak Camp.
Mae La, Umpiem, and Nupo
External: Government officials, Agency, Vendor, Landlord and etc.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in management or related field
Work Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in HR, Administrative, or relevant field.
Experience in a non-profit organization and international environment is preferable.

Language Skills:
Working Environment: The position will be based in Mae Sot District, Tak Province with some time travel to Mae La, Umpiem and Nupo Temporary Shelter in Tak.
