Community Partners International (CPI) is a U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities in Asia to meet their essential health, humanitarian and development needs. Founded by U.S. doctors in 1998, the organization has grown to serve more than one million people each year. Community Partners International focuses on helping communities affected by conflict, violence, and displacement, in remote and hard-to-reach contexts, and marginalized by poverty and exclusion.
Primary Responsibilities
- Involved in the Safety and Security activities of CPI.
- Support Admin Manager in terms of safety security activities.
- Engage with all key stakeholders to enhance the Safety and Security measures of CPI.
Regular Responsibilities
- Ensure CPI offices are met with Safety and Security standards prescribed in CPI S&S Policy.
- Ensure adherence to safety and security guidelines/ SOPs by all staff.
- Support all staff in completing the essential and mandatory safety and security training.
- Facilitate S&S training for all staff by coordinating with external experts.
- Check the office security facility, fulfill, and maintain. Make sure security facilities and equipment are well functioning.
- Support Admin Manager to conduct security-related drills (fire drill, earthquake drill, etc.)
- Support Admin Manager in conducting Security Risk Analysis, and Contingency Plan.
- All security-related incidents and assigned field areas are monitored, Recorded, and reported to the Admin Manager.
- Record security incident data and share it with the Admin Manager for analysis and action.
- Organized and facilitated safety and security focal personal meetings and Security Briefing sessions.
- Prepare and follow up on the procurement of Safety and Security equipment and IEC.
- Prepare the Safety and Security-related expenses and payments as needed.
Operations and Administration
- Receive approved TA, and track staff movement and traveling.
- Support the Admin Manager to make situational analysis for the project area and inform the staff before travel.
- Develop a system and oversee staff travel including travel authorization and recommend the safe and secure means of transport and accommodation upon request.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in management or in relevant fields or a related professional experience is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Safety and Security sector or a related position and NGO work is a plus.
- Experience in delivering training, supporting the training and facilitation.
- Good verbal, reading, and written communication and presentation skills in English.
- Ability to coordinate teams with multiple staff and experience working in a multicultural.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under time pressure and tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with PC-based software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience working in a multicultural.
