World Vision Foundation of Thailand is a Christian humanitarian, development and advocacy organisation devoted to improving the lives of children, their families and communities by tackling the root causes of poverty. With nearly 50 years of experience in the country, we help all people regardless of race, gender, and religion.

We are seeking a People & Culture (Human Resources) Director

If you are a dynamic HR leader with skills in designing and implementing strategy to maximize people and organizational capability, and with a heart for the most vulnerable children in Thailand, we’d love to welcome you to our team.

About the role

The People & Culture Director is a critical senior leader position in World Vision Foundation of Thailand. It is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure we attract the right staff and they are motivated and equipped to perform at their best and grow personally, spiritually and professionally. This includes managing and developing the People & Culture Division capability and driving organization-wide culture transformation as we seek to become more agile and effective in everything we do to achieve our Mission.

The main responsibilities of the position cover all aspects of HR activity:

• Strategic workforce planning and recruitment
• Total Rewards, including compensation and benefits/payroll
• Staff engagement, spiritual nurture and wellbeing
• Performance management
• Talent management and succession planning
• Staff and leader development
• Digitalization of People & Culture practices and data analytics

To be successful as our People & Culture Director, we expect you will have:

• At least 5-10 years experience managing/leading an HR function/department
• A graduate qualification and/or Professional qualification in Human Resource Management and/or Human Resource Development
• A strong track record in providing strategic P&C leadership and influencing fellow leaders in advancing more effective P&C practices and driving culture change
• Excellent communication, diplomacy, negotiation, influencing and conflict mediation skills and the ability to apply these across a range of diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and grow people and teams
