People & Culture Partner

Position title: People & Culture Partner.
Position type: full-time, fixed-term contract for 12 months.
Location: Flexible/home-based between GMT +5 to +11
Application closing date: 20 March 2024, 5 PM ICT.
Expected start date: as early as possible

Cuttlefish Digital is a start-up digital communications agency. We develop and deliver creative digital campaigns for clients focusing on climate action and energy transition in the Asia Pacific. As part of a global network of communicators, researchers, marketers, and advocacy strategists, we work with non-profit partners to campaign for clean energy.


ABOUT THE ROLE

Cuttlefish Media is looking for a talented and professional human resources specialist to join our team and manage all human resource procedures, including recruiting, on and off-boarding, compensation and benefits, maintaining team consultant records and ensuring a healthy workplace for the team.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the people and culture function and act as a main point of contact for all People and Culture-related issues.
  • Manage and support time off request procedures, including holiday requests and records.
  • Advise and support team and managers on People and Culture matters
  • Manage, maintain and update employee records, ensuring accurate information
  • Manage and support all aspects of the recruitment process, including job advertisements and interview appointments, recommend suitable candidates and reference checking process
  • Manage on and off-boarding processes and coordinate with relevant departments
  • Plan and organise learning development and training activities.
  • Assist in planning, organising, and administrating annual performance reviews and career development.
  • Support and manage the development and review of new and existing policies, procedures, guidelines and work instructions in the respective areas of People and Culture
  • Prepare and review team consultant and employee contracts to ensure professional compensation and benefits packages.
  • Stay up to date and ensure compliance with local labour legislation.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, organisation psychology, or a related field
  • 3-5 years experience in human resources, organisational development, learning and development or relative filed
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Bamboo HR and other relevant software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and learning and development practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
