Freelance Fundraiser

In a first for Southeast Asia, Steps and the Sasin School of Management have launched a research centre to improve inclusive employment practices, the Neurodiversity at Work Research Centre (NWRC).

The award-winning centre conducts evidence-based research looking at the experiences of neurodivergent workers and their employers, as well as attitudes and expectations towards neurodivergent people and their families.

The research centre relies on public and private donations to cover its overheads and research outputs.

The role

This is a freelance role which may suit someone working on multiple projects or who is looking to balance their corporate and social work.

We are seeking an experienced professional to:

• Advise and input into funding proposals with support from the communications and advocacy team
• Lead conversations with pre-selected donors and be responsible for getting them over the line
• Mentor our in-house team in areas including relationship building, proposal writing, proposal pitching

Requirements

• Proven track record of fundraising / the ability to achieve sales or revenue targets
• Ability to work with government sector,  large institutional foundations, and philanthropists
• Fluent Thai speaker
• Professional conduct
• Available to meet with donors and attend selected internal meetings during business hours (scheduled ahead of time)

Start date: ASAP

• Retainer plus success fee (10% fee, paid 30% upfront and 70% upon success)
