Reach for Equity (REACH) is dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities in Asia to meet their essential health, humanitarian, and development needs. Reach for Equity focuses on helping communities affected by conflict, violence, and displacement in remote and hard-to-reach contexts and marginalized by poverty and exclusion.

 

Primary Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support to partners and REACH Staff.
    • Ensure all the partners’ financial data are timely and accurately recorded in the accounting software.
    • Ensure REACH and partner’s expenses are within budget, well documented and supported by receipts, review expense documentation and receipts for completeness and accuracy.
    • Regular monitoring of Partners’ financial reports and providing technical expertise in financial management to REACH and Partners staff.
    • Prepare donor financial reports and ensure compliance with donor requirements.

 

Regular Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the finance manager and program staff to develop the project and partner’s budget.
    • Regularly monitor and review partner’s financial record for accuracy and post all financial transactions, review financial reports, ensure sufficient supporting documents in compliance with REACH and Donor requirements.
    • Ensure monthly and quarterly reports are reviewed together with relevant program focal and assist Finance Manager in overseeing the grants spending.
    • Collect and consolidate monthly cash forecast and fund requests by REACH field management and partners.
    • To support internal and external project audits to REACH as well as partners.
    • Other duties as assigned.

 

Partner Support

  • Work with Program teams to oversee and monitor sub-grants to and financial reports from partner organizations.
  • Making regular trips to partners to provide technical support and coordination with partner organizations and provide training on financial management as needed.
  • Ensure up-to-date and accurate tracking of financial performance of all sub-grantees.

 

Capacity Building and Supporting other Staff

  • To ensure full understanding and compliance of REACH and Donor policies by all project staff, as well as sub grantees through training, guidance and support.
  • Training to partners on financial procedures, budgetary controls and provide technical assistance as required.

 

Operations and Administration

  • Manage, organize, and update partners' relevant data using spread sheets
  • Review financial reports sent by partner quarterly and to make sure to meet REACH financial guideline for partner
  • Comply review the inventory reports for the REACH Partners on quarterly basis, and develop to final report to submit to Finance Coordinator for review.
  • Ensure compliance with REACH Policies and Donor Guidelines.
  • Develop financial and statistical report for quarterly variance analysis

 

Organization Representation

  • Participates to coordination meetings, staff meetings

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • B Com, LCCI Level III or University Bachelor's degree and diploma in accounting.
  • At least five years’ experience in a finance environment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Thai.
  • Sound judgment, planning and interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Essential skills in Excel and accounting software is preferred.
  • Competence in using information technology, work-procession spreadsheet and PowerPoint software.
  • Exposure to NGO work is an advantage.
  • Able to think for themselves and make the necessary decision.
  • Able to work independently.
