Job Announcement
Project: Hands to Heart Women Cooperative Project (HHWCP)
Goals
- Increase the standard of living through sustainable livelihood approaches for hill tribes with emphasis on impoverishes families
- Village Family Base Line Survey making accessible detailed socio-economic data / information on hill tribe families in targeted village communities.
Objectives
- Applying indigenous and outside knowledge, producing quality handicraft products.
- Group members applying learnt booking, business and marketing skills
- Groups utilizing supplementary budget through a revolving fund.
- Increase alternative income through handicraft generation opportunities.
- Establish baseline data of the proposed interventions questionaries’ for monitoring, evaluating, and assessing project impact.
Position: Project Manager
Overall management of HHWCP, ensuring quality of implementation and supervision of project activities, budgets, workplans, reports (monthly, quarterly, annual), monitoring / evaluations as directed in project objectives and goals.
- Duties
- Work with Project advisors, consultants, and staff to meet objective / goals of the project.
- Prepare / budget and facilitate training modules for micro-enterprise skills based on needs of artisan members, project staff, and other stakeholders.
- Guide / monitor women during the production process of prototype products and monitor/ evaluate / record / document their effectiveness’s, using a participatory (tailored made) approach, using all stakeholders.
- Make necessary changes and facilitate these changes for further training.
- Develop and strengthen “self-help artesian groups / clusters” in project areas.
- Ensures transparencies in-service and outside evaluations (collection, analysis, recording and reporting).
- Make necessary changes to outputs / activities to project implementations to better reach project objectives and beneficiaries needs.
Education and/or Equivalent Experience

- BS degree social science
- Social work

- Mandatory
- At least 3 years’ experience in rural development management
- Project Staff (3) and village group (20 plus) management and development
- Project product development / marketing
- Computers, Software (Word, Excel)
- Motorcycle license
- Desired
- At least 5 years’ experience in Project management
- Project Staff (5) and village group (50 plus) management and development
