Background and Key Functions:
Launched in 2016, the Equity Initiative (EI) is a program of the China Medical Board (CMB) Foundation, based in Bangkok, Thailand. This unique program aims to nurture and develop a new generation of health equity leaders in Southeast Asia and China. This work is done through an induction year Fellowship program, and through supporting communities of practice to work together and support each other in addressing the root causes of regional inequities and injustices. The Knowledge and Learning Manger is mid-level position of the EI program team under the guidance of the EI Senior Management Team. The Knowledge and Learning Manager will be responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of the monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks to assess the development, effectiveness, and impact of the EI program.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement appropriate mechanisms for monitoring, evaluating, and tracking of activities and results, including tracking individual Fellows, and measuring the overall outcomes of the EI fellowship induction year and the EI community building funded projects and other activities.
- Identify key learnings and insights from evaluation data to inform the EI program development and its strategic planning. Facilitate continuous improvement by sharing findings with CMB and EI program staff, EI Fellows, stakeholders, and other partners.
- Collect feedback from Fellows to continuously improve the EI fellowship program. Ensure accurate and timely data collection and analysis processes.
- Work closely with the EI Fellows to gather feedback and continuously incorporate it into program improvements across both the fellowship induction year and EI community building activities. Build and maintain relationships with the EI Fellows to support evaluation activities.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on findings and recommendations to improve the EI program. Communicate complex data in an understandable and actionable manner for various audiences.
- Ensure the lessons learned and best practices of the EI fellowship and other knowledge management activities are clearly documented.
- Explore new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the program evaluation and learning processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s or higher degree preferred)
- 6 or more years of work experience in program and/or project evaluation, data analysis, and reporting within the development sector and/or non-profit setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and findings clearly.
- Experience in web-based knowledge management software (e.g. Salesforce) and in data collection on CRM platform, i.e., Salesforce, is an advantage.
- Excellent English proficiency
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
- Resident of Thailand and/or Thai Nationals preferred.
