Scholars of Sustenance (SOS) is the first food rescue foundation in Thailand and was established in 2016. Our mission is to improve food equity in the country by redistributing high-quality surplus food from food-related businesses such as hotels, grocers, restaurants, and other suppliers to communities in need in Bangkok, Phuket, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai, and remote areas in the country every day through our different food programs. Over the past 6 years, we've successfully proven our food rescue model to fight food waste in Thailand by rescuing about 7.9 million kilograms of surplus food which turned into more than 33 million meals served to over 3,000 communities. 

Fundraising and Partnership Executive

The Fundraising and Partnership Executive will support the overall fundraising and partnership management strategy, execute the fundraising activities to support SOS operations and growth, also inspire the external stakeholders to engage with SOS in order to raise awareness about Food Waste and Hunger issues while strengthening SOS presence in the public. This position will work in close collaboration with the Senior Manager for Strategic Partnership in Thailand. 

Fundraising Management 

1. Support the development and implementation of the local fundraising strategy and marketing for fundraising activities/ events which focused on corporate partners, high-value individuals. 

2. Actively identify and analyze potential fundraising opportunities including new funders, sponsors, and donors. 

3. Develop CSR packages and foster positive relationships with the Operations department and externals. 

4. Implement various fundraising tools for instance organizing events, CSR activities, and creating campaigns to maximize the fundraising opportunity. 

5. Lead in proposal development in compliance with donor requirements and institutional policy, procedures, and practices. 

6. Work with data and project staff to create compelling and persuasive cases of support on the financial donor reports (always be mindful of the sensitive use of our beneficiaries' experiences). 

7. Lead on the process of reporting back to funders and partners in account. 

8. Regularly update the grant tracker to monitor the use of budget from received grants and ensure deliverables are met. 

Partnerships and Networking 

1. Cultivate and manage donor/partner relationships, and provide opportunities for cooperation, networking, and alliance-building. 

2. Liaise with supporters organizing and participating in events, providing them with necessary fundraising and promotional materials including sponsor packs. 

3. Attend internal and external meetings, events, and presentations as required. 

4. Ensure all contacts are up to date and engaged appropriately. 

5. Assist with the creation and distribution of mailing to externals. 

Qualifications

1. Thai National with fluent written and spoken Thai and English. Ability to interpret during meetings. 

2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/ Communications/ Marketing or 1-2 years of working experience in a related field (i.e., marketing, sales, fundraising with a proven track record). 

3. Confident presenter with excellent written skills. (grant, proposal, and donor profiling or any document process)

4. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and build strong relations with partners/ donors. 

5. Able to work independently and as a team member, and possess strong project management skills. 

6. High skills in essential software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM, Canva, etc.).

Salary

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. 

Welfare 

• Vacation 10 days and 14 public holidays.
