Summary of Responsibilities and Tasks:

Under the supervision of Procurement and Logistics Coordinator, The Logistics Officer (Sourcing and market analysis), will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and procuring goods and services for Reach for Equity operations. This Position will conduct thorough market research to assess industry trends, identify potential suppliers, and analyze competitive offerings to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

 

Responsibilities:

Market Research

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, key players, and emerging opportunities.
  • Analyze market dynamics, including supply and demand factors, pricing trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Monitor industry news, reports, and publications to stay abreast of market developments and potential risks.

 

Supplier Identification and Evaluation

  • Identify potential suppliers through various channels, including online databases, trade shows, and referrals.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, reliability, and performance to ensure alignment with organizational requirements and standards.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Analyze sourcing options, considering factors such as cost, quality, lead times, and logistics, to make informed procurement decisions.

 

Supplier Management

  • Monitor supplier performance against established metrics and benchmarks, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with contractual agreements, quality standards, and ethical practices.
  • Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, rationalization, or diversification to mitigate risks and enhance supply chain resilience.

 

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sourcing activities, supplier performance, and market trends to generate insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings, trends, and opportunities
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to optimize sourcing strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Keep Suppliers Database up to Date

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or market research roles, preferably in a Medical supply industry or sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret large datasets to derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Must be Thai National. Require proficiency of Thai and English Languages
  • Proficiency in using market research tools, databases, and analytical software (e.g Excel , Tableau) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
