Major duties and responsibilities
Support the tiger and wildlife research and monitoring including taking care of the wildlife and patrol database and share results with other protected areas and Bangkok head office
Develop and maintain the database of all technical reports, presentations, maps, data and information, pictures produced by the project as well as a list of organizations and companies working in related fields, related products, etc.
Plan and support in training of rangers and using professional equipment to enhance the efficiency of their routine patrol
Establish relationships and keep regular contact with key partners (multi-sectoral, government and non-government) at local, national and regional levels (for implementation and networking/lessons sharing)
Liaise with an assigned contact person for local and national partners to maintain effective and smooth operations
Update the database of all technical reports and visual information as well as list of companies working in related fields or related products
Maintain the implementation of the patrol database via SMART Program and joint patrol with conservation partner agencies
Participate in project activities to support all tasks as assigned
Required qualifications
Minimum bachelor’s level degree with knowledge/experience in wildlife conservation/field work implementation.
Experience in support on field work implementation, database management (wildlife and patrol), SMART Program.
Finance and budget administration, programme monitoring and evaluation and reporting.
Experience working in NGO or relevant development agency including meeting Government Aid donor requirements.
Positive attitude towards wildlife conservation work and can collaborate well with others as part of a team.
Capable to work in remote areas and drive in tough environments.
