Our Certificates in Global Engagement - with their core study abroad and internship abroad programs - seek to complement existing higher education and professional development with a crucial interdisciplinary approach to global engagement. We help learners to develop and apply key competencies for global change leaders.

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled full time Program Officer (independent contractor) to develop, coordinate, and manage the content and coordination of our programs across Thailand and neighboring countries. This role requires a blend of academic and operational expertise to ensure that our programs are both educational and smoothly executed.This is an independent contractor position and not employment.

About the position

The successful candidate will have the following primary tasks and duties:

• Develop and implement study abroad and internship programs in Thailand and neighboring countries
• Create comprehensive program materials and itineraries
• Manage all aspects of program coordination

Required skills and competencies

Education & experience:

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) in sustainable development, public health, or similar
• Minimum of 3 years' work/independent contractor experience
• Experience in study abroad programs would be a plus
• Strong content focused background with the ability to efficiently coordinate logistics and operations
• Ability to interact with diverse cultural and academic background

Skills:

• Excellent Thai and English (spoken and written)
• Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information in diverse settings

Character & personality:

• Interest in international education
• Self-starter who takes initiative and thinks creatively
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Outgoing and a good communicator
• High standards of professionalism and performance

Fee: To be negotiated based on the candidate’s background and qualifications
