  1. Major Function

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, management and implementation of the project and ensures the compliance with the Project Document and WWF’s contractual obligations. This includes responsibilities for technical, financial and administrative aspects of the Project. He/she will oversee the development of management systems, operational procedures and capacity building for key project staff.

 

  1. Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the project workplan according to donor requirements to ensure project progress in each period
  • Manage and monitor the IKI project budget according to donor requirements
  • Supervise and support project team members to successfully implement the project
  • Collaborate with academic institutions, CSOs, and the private sector to promote and apply SCP principles in different sectors.
  • Collaborate with key government agencies to reform and develop policies that will lead to greenhouse gas reduction and other sustainable production and consumption outcomes.
  • Join internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences to share knowledge about the project objectives and outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate along project progress to align with donor requirements

 

  1. Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in natural resource management, forestry, agriculture, or in relevant fields.
  • 3 years managing programs funded by a diversity of sources, including governments, aid agencies, and private sector donors with annual budgets of 1-2 million USD.
  • 5 years working in Natural resources management or other sustainability projects.
  • Knowledge of SCP principles and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain mapping.
  • Ability to integrate many disciplines in project planning and implementation.
  • Project Management in sustainable consumption and production.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and good command in computer literacy.
