SCHOLARS OF SUSTENANCE FOUNDATION (SOS)
Scholars of Sustenance Foundation is the first food rescue foundation in Thailand and was established in 2016. Our mission is to improve food equity in the country by redistributing high quality surplus food from food-related businesses such as hotels, grocers, restaurants, manufacturers and farms, to communities in need in Bangkok, Phuket, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai and remote areas, every day. Since inception we've successfully proven our food rescue model to fight food waste in Thailand by rescuing over 7.5 million kilograms of surplus food which turned into more than 31 million meals served to over 3,700 communities. In addition, this has reduced CO2e emissions by 19 million kilograms, positively contributing to the fight against climate change.
