Women’s Economic Empowerment Project Manager

Job specification

This role is responsible for coordinating and managing all projects under Women’s Economic Empowerment of Raks Thai Foundation. The Project Manager is part of Program team which main role is to ensure all projects are managed effectively and efficiently, resulting in an impactful change aligned with Raks Thai’s strategic development. The Program Manager will be providing guidance to the field offices team in the implementation phase to ensure the objectives are met. The incumbent is expected to expand partnership as well as representing the organization in various channels.

 

Key responsibilities

Program coordination/M&E

  • Oversee planning, execution, reporting, including networking events
  • Coordinate and drive the projects under the Women’s Economic Empowerment program in all aspects with an aim to achieve the optimal impact based on the agreed framework
  • Monitor budget, timeline and quality of the assigned projects
  • Identify potential risks with mitigation plan  
  • Provide recommendation on actions to improve efficiency of program implementation and monitor to ensure project workplan is on track
  • Ensure Raks Thai and Care International database is up-to-date for M&E and planning purposes
  • Work closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders including donor, technical consultant, vendors

 

 

Partnership

  • Work closely with the field teams and relevant stakeholders including donor, technical consultant, vendors
  • Identify potential proposal and network opportunities
  • Represent the organization in various capacities to communicate the performance and outcome of projects under WEE
  • Maintain strategic partnerships to create optimal impact for the programs.

 

Team management

  • Ensure effective training and knowledge sharing of staff are provided to support program execution to the highest standard. through effective training and knowledge sharing
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the field office operations in relation to WEE projects
  • Establish routine calls to ensure the progress update mechanism is in place

 

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in relate fields; business, marketing, social degrees
  • Experience and background in private sectors or social enterprises welcomed. Some experience in NGO, INGO would be beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Project management
  • Excellent communicators. Must be fluent in English (speaking and writing)
  • Interest in social issues and wanted to be part of driving the changes in community development through occupational work
  • Business acumen, organizational and adaptability skill
  • Ability to lead a team of field officers based in different locations. Field visits can be expected on a regular basis.
  • Confident with an ability to express ideas in a constructive manner
  • Can-do attitude, independent, strategic thinker and self-motivated team leader
