ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Care Taker for Shelter based in Mae Lao, Chiang Rai, Thailand.

Commencement of Employment: ASAP 2024

Job Overview: The Care Taker is an assistant to the Shelter Coordinator.  This position helps the Shelter Coordinator to coordinate all shelter related activities. Ensure shelter girls have a safe environment, nutritious food and hygienic living condition.  The main responsibility is to engage shelter girls in agricultural activities and income generation.

REPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Shelter Coordinator to organize events for shelter girls as assigned
• Assist Shelter Coordinator to update and reinforce the rules and regulations for shelter girls
• Support good ongoing communication between staff and shelter girls
• Support shelter girls in changing and improving their behavior
• Represent ADRA in networking and stakeholder meeting as assigned by supervisor
• Ensure daily record is done.  Risk and incident report is documented within 24 hours and report immediately to the Shelter Coordinator.
• Provide monthly report on task assigned
• Record pending task for staff taking over duty 
• Ensure girls have done their daily school assignment and daily chores
• Assist to provide Life Skill training to shelter girls as assigned
• Provide health care for shelter girls
• Drive girls to and from respective schools  if needed
• Ensure agricultural equipment and baking materials is recorded.
• Sleep in the shelter to look after girls at night on a rotation basis with the Shelter Coordinator and Assistant Shelter Coordinator
• Take lead in agriculture activities as assigned
• Take lead in baking and food processing activities as assigned
• Adhere to ADRA Safeguarding Framework Policies and support all ADRA Representatives to also adhere to these policies
• Perform other tasks as required by the Shelter Coordinator/ Project Manager

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma/High Vocational Certificate or higher

Experience:

• Experience working with/or children, youth, Public Health, Nutrition,

Language Skills:

• Fluent in spoken and written Thai

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work in a Christian context
• Experience or admire in agriculture and baking skills
• Good attitude toward the difference of sex, religion, race and culture.
• Hold driving’s license
• High level of flexibility and self-motivation

ภาพรวมของงาน: พี่เลี้ยงเด็ก เป็นผู้ช่วยของผู้ประสานงานบ้านพัก ตำแหน่งนี้ช่วยผู้ประสานงานบ้านพักในการประสานงานกิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องในสถานสงเคราะห์ทั้งหมด เพื่อมั่นใจว่าเด็กหญิงในสถานสงเคราะห์มีสภาพแวดล้อมที่ปลอดภัย อาหารที่มีคุณค่าทางโภชนาการ และสภาพความเป็นอยู่ที่ถูกสุขลักษณะ หน้าที่หลักของพี่เลี้ยงเด็กคือการการดูแลความเป็นอยู่เด็กหญิงในสถานสงเคราะห์ รวมถึงการจัดสรรกิจกรรมทางการเกษตรให้กับเด็กๆ

หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบทั่วไป:

• ช่วยผู้ประสานงานบ้านพักในการจัดกิจกรรมสำหรับเด็กตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
• ช่วยผู้ประสานงานบ้านพักด้านการปรับปรุงและเสริมสร้างกฎระเบียบสำหรับเด็กในสถานสงเคราะห์
• สนับสนุนการสื่อสารที่ดีอย่างต่อเนื่องระหว่างเจ้าหน้าที่และเด็กๆในสถานสงเคราะห์
• สนับสนุนด้านการปรับพฤติกรรมเด็กในสถานสงเคราะห์
• ปฏิบัติงานอื่น ๆ ตามที่ผู้ประสานงานที่พักพิง/ผู้จัดการโครงการกำหนด
• เป็นตัวแทนของ ADRA ในการประชุมเครือข่ายและผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียตามที่ผู้บังคับบัญชากำหนด
• ทำการจดการบันทึกประจำวัน การรายงานความเสี่ยงและเหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์จะต้องได้รับการบันทึกภายใน 24 ชั่วโมงและรายงานทันทีต่อผู้ประสานงานบ้านพัก
• จัดทำรายงานรายเดือนเกี่ยวกับงานที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
• บันทึกงานที่ค้างและการประสานส่งต่องานให้กับเจ้าหน้าที่ๆรับช่วงต่อ
• ดูแลเด็กในการทำการบ้านประจำวันและงานบ้านประจำวัน
• จัดการฝึกอบรมทักษะชีวิตแก่เด็กตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
• ให้การดูแลด้านสุขภาพแก่เด็ก
• ขับรถรับส่งเด็ก เช่น โรงเรียน โรงพยาบาล
• ตรวจเช็คและบันทึกอุปกรณ์การเกษตรและอุปกรณ์งานฝีมืออย่างสม่ำเสมอ
• อยู่เวรกลางคืนเพื่อดูแลเด็ก โดยสลับเวรกับเจ้าหน้าที่บ้านพักท่านอื่น
• มีหน้าที่ในการรายงานเหตุการณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการคุ้มครองทั้งหมด
• ปฏิบัติตามนโยบายกรอบการคุ้มครองเด็กของ ADRA และสนับสนุนตัวแทนของ ADRA ทุกคนที่ทำงานด้วยโดยตรงให้ปฏิบัติตามนโยบายเหล่านี้ด้วย
• มั่นใจว่าชุมชนตระหนักถึงนโยบายการคุ้มครองเด็กและวิธีการยกระดับและรายงานข้อกังวลใจ
• เป็นผู้นำในกิจกรรมทางการเกษตรตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
• เป็นผู้นำในกิจกรรมการอบขนมและการแปรรูปอาหารตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
• ปฏิบัติหน้าที่อื่นๆ ตามที่ได้รับมอบหมายจากหัวหน้างาน

คุณสมบัติขั้นต่ำด้านทักษะ ประสบการณ์ และการศึกษา

• อนุปริญญา/ประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูงหรือเทียบเท่า
• มีความสามารถในการทำงานในบริบทของคริสเตียน
• มีประสบการณ์ทำงานกับเด็ก เยาวชน สุขภาพสาธารณะ โภชนาการ
• มีประสบการณ์หรือชื่นชอบในทักษะทางการเกษตรและการอบขนม
• มีทักษะการสื่อสารและเขียนภาษาไทยอย่างดี
• มีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อความแตกต่างทางเพศ ศาสนา เชื้อชาติ และวัฒนธรรม
• มีใบขับขี่รถยนต์ส่วนบุคคลและจักรยานยนต์
• มีความยืดหยุ่นและแรงจูงใจในระดับสูง
