Thailand One Health University Network- National Coordinating Office is looking for staff, who have high motivation and collaborative mind to be a part of human capacity development for multisectoral coordination and response to infectious disease outbreak.

THOHUN BACKGROUND

Since 2012, Thailand One Health University Network or THOHUN has responsibility on pre-service training both future and current workforce to early prevent and protect emerging/ re-emerging diseases in Thailand by integration of collaboration across sectors with respect to One Health approach. The One Health approach is particularly relevant regarding the control of zoonoses, rabies risk communication and combatting antibiotic resistance. To effectively respond to, and prevent outbreaks of zoonoses, epidemiological data and laboratory information should be shared across sectors.

According to strengthen workforce potential, One Health core competencies (OHCCs) were developed for the current workforce based on the Memorandum of Understanding on the Implementation of One Health Initiative for National Health Security which is an agreement of 7 Thai ministries (Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Public Health) and Thai Red Cross. For preparedness to outbreaks prevention, OHCCs

were improved and adjusted that suitable for the future workforce who will be a future operational person in the public health sector both in private and government. https://thohun.org

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Graphically design and produce newsletters, booklet documenting OHW project activities and successes and branding materials.
• Produce newsletters, booklet documenting OHW project activities and successes and branding materials.
• Generate and maintain THOHUN website content and integrate with the SEAOHUN website.
• Manage outreach communications through media relations, social media under supervision of Program and Communications.
• To Assist IT and E-Learning Officer to design and produce educational tools or media.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Thai Nationality.
• Academic Qualifications: Degree in fine arts, design, or related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in lay-out and design of publications for development organizations, including production of detailed technical graphs and figures, icons and infographics.
• Proven experience in creating visual content and graphic design.
• Previous experience working in field of communications in non-governmental organizations, development organizations or international organizations is desirable but not compulsory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken Thai and English.
