1. Position Summary

The Position of interpreters (Part-time) collaborates with the Sub-Division4, Investigation Division,Immigration Bureau in part of the National Screening Mechanism (NSM) system on a case-by-case basis. Reporting to the Case Manager, this position is part-time and offers flexible working hours.

 

2. Position Qualification

  • Excellent in source and target language skills (Listening, Speaking).
  • Experience in Interpreting
  • Exhibits in a good behavior.
  • Received or completed interpreter training from any organization.
  • Responsible and good teamwork person.

 

3. Position Description

  • Provide real-time translation during meetings, conferences, or one-on-one discussions.
  • Interpret conversations between parties in a clear, accurate, and unbiased manner.
  • Ensure cultural nuances and appropriate etiquette are maintained during interpretation.
  • Prepare for assignments by researching technical, legal, or specialized terms when necessary.
  • Collaborate withclients or colleagues to ensure effective communication in diverse settings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and high level of professionalismat all times.
  • Assist with written translations when needed.
  • The daily wage for this position is 2,400 baht (Full-day).
