Introduction
The Borderland Health Foundation (BHF) is a non-for-profit, non-confessional and non-political organization, registered in Thailand. The Foundation is linked to a field station of the Mahidol - Oxford University Research Unit (SMRU Clinics) which are located in Mas Sot, Mae Ramat, Phro Phra, Tha Song Yang and Umphang districts in Tak province, Thailand. BHF works with marginalized populations along Thailand-Myanmar border by focusing on health care services and public health issues with its focus on malaria, tuberculosis, and maternal and child health.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Overview the M&E plan for current projects and report monthly, quarterly, annual progress to project lead (or supervisor)
• Assist in or facilitate collecting achievement of indicators of M&E plan for assigned project/activity with project M&E staff; including monitoring in achievement against incurred expenses
• Collect activity assessment and ensure that outcomes and lessons learned are integrated into the project and shared with stakeholder’s quarterly basis
• Assist project lead (or supervisor) in preparing narrative and M&E reporting for assigned project/activity 
• Provide capacity building to project M&E staff to ensure data collection according to M&E plans
• Coordinate with internal and external M&E related personnel, if necessary, assigned by project lead (or supervisor)
• Support advocacy efforts for current project

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in public health, medicine, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in M&E with a focus on HIV, TB, and Malaria.
• Strong technical knowledge in HIV, TB, and Malaria prevention, treatment, and control.
• Knowledge of local and international guidelines and best practices in the field.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in Burmese & English (spoken and written) is essential. Speaking Karen language is preferable.
• Experience working in low resource settings and knowledge of the local health system is an advantage.
