Help transform systems and shape a sustainable future at the intersection of culture and climate!

Creative Migration is seeking a Office & Program Assistant (Climate/Culture) to join our Bangkok-based team and be part of a global movement driving climate adaptation through culture. Our work is grounded in cultural and climate diplomacy, building multilateral partnerships to influence how systems function, from the creative industries to community-level change. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of innovative projects that use arts and culture to address the climate emergency while fostering global collaboration. You'll support impactful initiatives, connect with diverse interest holders, and contribute to rethinking how culture can lead systemic adaptation in the face of global challenges.

Your Responsibilities

As a Office & Program Assistant (Climate/Culture), you'll play a pivotal role in advancing Creative Migration's mission. Your responsibilities will include:

Administrative & Office Support

  • Assist with scheduling, emails, and general office tasks.
  • Help prepare documents such as meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations.
  • Assist in projected budget preparation and monitor budgets for projects.
  • Maintain organizational systems using Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, or other collaboration tools.
  • Arrange meetings and appointments as requested.
  • Support communication with partners, funders, and stakeholders.

Travel & Logistics Coordination

  • Help coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and logistics for the Executive Director.
  • Assist with travel and residency logistics for international and local artists.
  • Support visa applications and necessary documentation for visiting artists and collaborators.

Program & Event Support

  • Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and events.
  • Support artist residencies by helping with logistics.
  • Work with interns and fellows, including helping with the hiring process.
  • Provide tech support, setting up presentations.

Sustainability & Climate Programs

  • Help collect and organize data for Climate Impact Reports (CIRs).
  • Support research on sustainability in cultural production.Assist in coordinating climate-focused programs and partnerships.

Fundraising & Development Support

  • Help with grant research and writing for specific projects.
  • Assist in preparing annual reports for funders.

Production & Sustainability Assistance

  • Act as a liaison with cultural production companies to support sustainability efforts.
  • Assist in compiling research and findings for integration into projects.
  • Provide hands-on production assistance to help embed sustainability in creative projects.

Who You Are

  • Strong communication skills (Thai & English)
  • Passionate about climate action and cultural projects
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Minimum Requirements

  • Open to Thai nationals ONLY
  • Fluent in Thai and English (spoken & written)
  • Full-time availability (40 hours per week), including occasional evenings/weekends for events.
  • Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, or similar collaboration tools
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, but a Plus!)

  • Experience in office administration and/or data analysis
  • Interest or background in climate action, arts, or nonprofit work
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in cultural production

Working Conditions

Details

Working Hours

Full-time position with standard office hours, with flexibility to accommodate project needs.

Overtime expectations

Production hours may occasionally extend beyond regular hours; overtime is compensated through our new consultancy initiative.

Work environment

Hybrid model: a combination of on-site collaboration and remote work to support flexibility.

Travel requirements

Occasional travel within Thailand for new sustainable c onsultancy as needed.

Special conditions or requirements

Bilingual proficiency in Thai and English is essential for effective communication and collaboration.
