Job Title: Temporary Program Assistant – Fellowship Recruitment Support

Background
Launched in 2016, the Equity Initiative (EI) Fellowship is a program of the CMB Southeast Asia Foundation, based in Bangkok, Thailand. This dynamic leadership development program aims to promote equity in health and well-being across Southeast Asia and China. To learn more about the program, visit www.equityinitiative.org.
Each June, the EI launches a recruitment campaign to identify mid-career professionals who are deeply committed to advancing health equity in the region. The campaign, running from early June through the end of August, involves broad outreach via the EI website, newsletters, social media channels, and collaboration with EI Fellows and regional partners. To support the recruitment of the 2026 Cohort, EI seeks a Temporary Program Assistant to work closely with the core team. The Assistant will assist with the planning, implementation, and coordination of the online recruitment process, with a catchment area that includes ASEAN countries, Timor-Leste, and China.
Scope of Work
The Temporary Program Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:
· Support digital outreach activities, including posting virtual advertisements and managing social media campaigns to attract applicants.
· Conduct targeted outreach to underrepresented sectors and professions to ensure a diverse and inclusive applicant pool.
· Assist with the end-to-end management of the online application process.
· Coordinate with vendors and the core team to ensure the integration between the online application platform and the Salesforce database.
· Monitor, analyze, and help manage applicant data and reporting.
· Provide timely and professional communication to applicants, offering updates, clarifying requirements, and troubleshooting issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
· Excellent English proficiency, particularly in writing and professional communication.
· Proficiency in IT systems and tools and familiarity with Salesforce is highly desirable.
· Experience working with online application platforms and/or databases related to recruitment or program management.
· Strong skills in social media and digital outreach; experience developing or supporting online campaigns is a plus.
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a hybrid work environment.
· Cross-cultural sensitivity and familiarity with the Southeast Asia and China context is preferred.
