Position title: Program Coordinator, Forest Forward Program

I. Background:

Our work in Thailand includes wildlife, fisheries, forest, and landscape conservation, as well as efforts to reduce marine plastics.
The Program Coordinator will support the Senior Program Manager in coordinating and implementing the Forest Forward Program, which focuses on forest and wildlife conservation across three critical biodiversity hotspots: the Mae Ping-Om Koi Forest Complex, the Khao Yai-Thap Lan Forest Complex, and the Lower Songkhram Floodplain River Basin. This initiative aims to restore forest landscapes, designate protected areas and Other Effective Area-Based Conservation Measures (OECMs), influence sustainable forest management policy, and address human- wildlife conflict.
This position requires strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills to ensure smooth program execution and alignment with conservation goals, donor requirements, and WWF policies. The role emphasizes facilitating collaboration among stakeholders, tracking project progress, and providing support for technical, financial, and administrative functions.

The Program Coordinator will primarily assist the Senior Program Manager in program coordination and implementation. This includes ensuring compliance with project agreements, contractual obligations, and donor requirements, as well as providing support for reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement

Internal: WWF-Thailand Conservation, Finance, and Communications staff, as well as WWF Greater Mekong specialists and WWF-Network donor offices (WWF European and other national offices).
External: Office of National Environment Policy, Thailand Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation, Royal Forest Department, Department of Fisheries, and other agency senior leadership, provincial and military representatives, individual protected area managers and wildlife researchers, as well as academic, CSO, and INGO partners.
