Travel: Up to 30% of working time | Status: Full-time

Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights?

CPI is seeking a Research Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in advancing our research agenda. In this position, you will collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate high-quality data to inform decision-making across the organization.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and maintain the data management system by ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across research projects,
  • Support research projects through study design, data collection, analysis, and reporting,
  • Develop clear outputs, including data visualizations, reports, and presentations,
  • Provide technical support and guidance to partners’ data management systems and represent CPI in meetings

Founded by U.S. doctors in 1998, the organization has grown to serve more than one million people each year. Community Partners International focuses on helping communities affected by conflict, violence, and displacement, in remote and hard-to-reach contexts, and marginalized by poverty and exclusion.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Research, Public Health, or Epidemiology (Bachelor’s with strong research experience may be considered).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in monitoring & evaluation, research projects, or health information systems.
  • Strong skills in research data collection, statistical analysis (Excel, R, Python, Stata, SPSS), and qualitative analysis tools (Nvivo, Dedoose preferred).
  • Proficiency in data management and data collection platforms (Kobo, ODK, Survey CTO).
  • Experience with GitHub for collaborative coding and version control.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills with proven ability to communicate research findings clearly.
  • Fluency in Burmese and English; proficiency in Karen languages preferred.
