Join Us as Program Officer!

Location: Mae Sot | Status: Consultant | Report to: Senior Program Manager

Are you a Medical Professional passionate about making a difference? REACH for Equity is seeking a Program Officer to support the effective coordination, management, and implementation of health and development projects in collaboration with Thai institutions, local stakeholders, and implementing partners. The Program Officer will support the Senior Program Manager in engaging partners, monitoring project progress and budgets, and ensuring targets are met, while also providing technical, logistical, and grant management support.

What We’re Looking For:

• University degree in Health, Development and Public Health related (bachelor’s degree in health, Community Health).
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in health projects/ similar position in an organization.
• Must be Thai National with strong English Language skills (Understanding on Karen or Burmese Language is a plus).
• Experience of working in a multicultural and low-resource setting.
• Experience in working with border-based organizations or Thai institutions/foundations.
• Ability to quickly develop a strong understanding of the local cultural and political context.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to establish priorities in a time sensitive environment and meet deadlines with strong attention to consistency, detail, and quality.
• Good presentation skills, writing and analytical skills.
• Flexibility to allow for travel (up to 50% of work time), variable working hours, and some modifications of tasks and responsibilities as team and project needs change.
