Overview

Hivesters is a travel social enterprise and an online hub for fun lifestyle activities with more sustainable options. Our mission is to make it easier for people to find sustainable activities and raise awareness of sustainable living. With this, we hope to change public behavior whilst at the same time supporting the organizers of these sustainable activities.

We are partnering with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Bangkok Metropolitan Adminsitration (BMA) in launching “the Social Advocator Project”, an innovative initiative that will bring in corporate executives and their teams to work with six communities in Bangkok in promoting their travel products and address their social issues in a fun and engaging way. The project includes other stakeholders such as a governmental agencies, expat communities, academia, media etc.

We are looking for fun and energetic Community Project Manager in implementing this exciting new project!
 

Job Description

- Coordinate and implement the project’s action plan as well as monitor its delivery

- Engage with communities in creating their profiles and help establishing good relationship between the communities and executives

- Organize and lead meetings among stakeholders at each community

- Lead the creation of advocator campaigns and mass participation events

- Draft substantive reports, write blogs and take pictures
 

Qualification

- Experience working in the development or non-profit sector or in private sector CSR departments. Past work in community-based and/or sustainable tourism is a plus.

- Great interpersonal skills with ability to engage with people from local communities and the business sector

- Passionate about travelling and improving livelihoods

- Have strong interest in Thai culture and art.

- Fluent in Thai and English with good creative writing skills

- Creative and active, open-minded with ability to work in multicultural environment and, more importantly, know how to have fun!

- Photographic and filming skills are an advantage

- Attention to details, planning & prioritization
