English Report Writers – Thematic Evauation Reports

Rapid Asia is an independent social research consultancy based in Bangkok. We carry out program evaluations across a number of thematic areas including human trafficking, wildlife conservation, migration, health, climate change, education etc. Our clients include donors, UN agencies and international aid and development organizations. We take a regional approach to evaluations and have developed tools and indicators that can be used across borders for the purpose of evaluating program impact. Rapid Asia has carried out evaluations in 24 countries across Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and South America.

Due to our continued growth and expanding workload, we are looking for an experienced and reliable English Report Writers, to support our team. The work will be on a contract basis but regular work can be expected. As a report writer you will be a key member of the project team and you will be notified well in advance of upcoming projects. Type of report and report length will vary depending on the project and it is expected that enumeration will be agreed based on workload.

Job Responsibilities:

Report writing

Compile analysis, sources, triangulated data as required by the team

Ability to work independently and with some level flexibility

Requirements:

Proven report writing experience

Keen interest in social development work

Strong work ethics and attention to detail

Ability to deliver to strict deadlines

Native English speaker is an advantage but not essential

Thematic expertise in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage: health, migration, poverty, wildlife conservation, human trafficking and climate change.

Experience with desk top publishing is considered an advantage but not essential.

Based in Bangkok is considered an advantage but not essential.
