Senior Finance Officer

(Based in Bangkok)

Catholic Office for Emergency Relief and Refugees (COERR) a Thai non-profit organization to provide relief to those affected natural and man-made disasters and to give needy assistance to refugees and displaced persons as well as to render services to the poor and vulnerable Thai individuals is urgently required a staff in the position of Senior Finance Officer

Job Responsibilities :

• Perform overall financial and accounting functions required for the Project and ensure of accurate and timely preparation of all financial and accounting reports including other reports as required.
• Make financial decisions in line with the approved budget in coordination with Finance Director and Finance & Admin Manager.
• Conduct and maintain financial control and monitoring for the Project.
• Coordinate on programme management, together with COERR management team, including the use of resources of the organization
• Monitor and ensure that all Finance and Accounting transactions of the Project are in compliance with organizational procedures and grant’s requirements
• Recommend or implement changes, if need.
• Cash management and cash position forecast.
• Liaise with grant personnel and external auditors.
• Responsible for project administrative tasks i.e. procurement, logistics etc.

Qualification :

• Male/Female, age above 30 years old. Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance. CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in related fields. Experience in international organization is preferred.
• Fast learning and hard working
• Strong organization and management skills for results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Thai and English.
• Computer literacy
• Excellent interpersonal skill
• Able to travel upcountry
• Able to work under pressure
