Position: Project Assistant/Secretary
Employer: JICA/ DATIP Project on Capacity Development on Assisting Victims of Trafficking in the Greater Mekong Sub-Regional Countries
Background
The ‘Capacity Development on Assisting Victims of Trafficking in The Greater Mekong Sub-Regional Countries’ is a technical cooperation project agreed between the Government of Thailand and Japan to combat human trafficking. Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is implementing agency of Japan side. It is a project to strengthen the capacities of officers and people working with Victims of Trafficking (VOT) in order to assist VOT build new lives after they are rescued.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or higher degree
- New graduates are welcome
- Excellent communication skills in English (equivalent to the level of TOEIC score not less than 800/ IELTS 6.5) and Thai (especially writing skill)
- Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet etc
- Ability to work in a team, good coordination skill
- Interest in anti-human trafficking
- Knowledge of other languages in Mekong Sub-region (especially Lao and Khmer) is an advantage
- Working experience in social work related field is an advantage
Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities are to support all tasks under the Project such as:

Probation Period:
One month from 1st October, 2017
(Those who have successfully passed the probation period will be given a one year contract)
