This position’s main responsibilities is in close collaboration with Geneva Learning Solutions Unit team. By translating needs analysis and functional specifications into detailed course designs. Determines learning objectives and the sequence in which to address them. Revises and rewrite content to shape it for learning needs. And provides exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.

Job purpose:

• The position holder will have the following responsibilities:

• Create engaging learning modules, performance support aids, online tutorials and other training materials.
• Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer

• Work with the Graphic Designer to create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)
• Develop assessment instruments    

Your education and experience:

• University degree or equivalent
• 3 to 4 years work experience in a similar field
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Good communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Good knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
• Proven knowledge of at least one Learning Management System
• Proven ability to storyboard
• Proven ability to use course authoring software (such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline)
• Proven ability to write effective instructional text, audio and video narration scripts

Competencies Requirement

• Visual design skills an asset
• Proven ability to write effective instructional text, audio and video narration scripts
• Ability to work in a team and organize his/her work independently
