Major Duties and Responsibilities:
The Web Developer (PHP Programmer) will work under the direct supervision of the National Programme Officer in charge of IT, under the overall supervision of the Chief of Executive Office of the UNESCO Bangkok Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education.
The Web Developer (PHP Programmer) must be competent in the technical aspects of information systems. The specific functions include:
- Develop and maintain the website of the office and related projects;
- Develop and maintain the in-house web-based applications:
- Perform routine system maintenance of websites;
- Respond to technical problems with regard to website and web-based applications;
- Perform any other tasks assigned to ensure the success of the team.
Qualifications/Requirements:

Education :
|
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
|
|
Language :
|
Very good communication skills in Thai and good communication skills in English.
|
|
Experience :
|
At least 3 years in website development;
|
|
Competencies :
|
• Proven working experience in web programming with HTML5/CSS,PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, JSP and XML;
•Database –MySQL, MS SQL;
•CMS Management – Drupal, WordPress on Linux and Windows
Server;
•SEO/SEM knowledge;
•Knowledge of graphic design, responsive design and cross-browser web development;
•Teamwork skills, able to work under high pressure; Good Thai and English communication skills.
