History

Happi was founded in January of 2016 and has 100’s of users and 100’s of charity partners, all of whom receive free funding for their good causes. Starting in Singapore and Manila, Happi now covers every country in Southeast Asia, as well as Oceania, India and parts of South America

Mission

Happi’s mission statement is simple: People Helping People. Happi is a 100% free tool for charity organizations and users to raise money. We provide the app, hosting, usage reports, prizes, and funds absolutely free. All that the users need to do is to answer a few quick questions every week, whilst getting the chance to win a great prize and guarantee funding to their chosen charity.

Target

Beneficiaries come from all walks of life and across multiple charitable organisations. In Singapore, we partner with organizations as varied as the huge Community Chest, down to very cause-specific groups like BillionBricks, Breastfeeding Mothers Association, Singapore Deaf Sports Association, etc.

Happi seeks to assist groups of people that are supporting good causes and that seek to increase their fundraising footprint. Our prime consideration for this job vacancy is to target charities and community groups in Thailand, but may also involve Cambodia and Laos in the future.

Who Do We Look For?

You are someone who has been described as positive, energetic, enthusiastic, trustworthy and reliable. You can relate to both university student groups and professional, global charities and non-profit organizations. You have been active as a volunteer, team or community group participant or leader, and, ideally, have been active in raising funds for these groups. You love the democratisation power of mobile apps, social media, and everything digital.

Some travel around Bangkok will be required, so it is an advantage if you have your own transport. It is also possible to work remotely, or within our offices near Ekamai BTS. We are open to speak with younger recent graduates, or those with more experience in the workplace.

What Will Be Your Role?

Your main task will be to recruit, support, manage, monitor, and liaise with charities, social enterprises, student activity groups, alumni groups and other organizations in Thailand. Part of your role will be to create processes and systems so that the majority of partners can participate on a self-service model using our online portal to manage their supporters and funding. There will also be some larger partners that are so important that you will create and manage annual plans with them, support their events, and publicise both internally and externally all of the good that we create together.

Personal Requirements

Thai national

University degree

Good ability to communicate in English

Good computer skills and familiar with social media usage and promotion (need to post blogs and other social media updates, especially in FB)

Attention to detail, service minded and good ability to cooperate within a team

Employment Start Date: As soon as possible
