PURPOSE OF POSITION
The purpose of this position is to support the National Director in facilitating WVFT’s approach on 4Es of Strategy Management Framework. In particular, this position will look after the implementation of FY18-20 Transition Roadmap Strategy. The role will work closely with the Ministry Directors and key tasks include facilitating the development of non-complex and integrated planning approach, which incorporates both bottom up and top-down processes. He/She is responsible in leading the development of a co-owned Annual Business Plan (ABP) and ensures annual plans are developed according to the different Plans articulated in the FY18-20 Transition Strategy.
The Strategy Coordinator is responsible for developing a performance monitoring system to monitor performance results vis-a-vis plans and communicate progress and issues to the Senior Management Team and relevant divisions/departments to ensure corrective actions are applied when appropriate. In addition, this role performs an advisory and support role to the strategy/business plan goal owners in their development, design, and implementation of various initiatives and learning programme. This role has the responsibility to carry out scenario planning and development of business continuity plan to be adapted in the organization's long term plan.
The Strategy Coordinator also ensures alignment of the National Office’s Strategy with the Global and Regional strategy, Strategic Mandates, Integrated Focus, Principle Level Choices and Models of Ministry of the Partnership.
It will have a matrix relationship with the Regional Office Strategy Director externally and internally, with the DM & E Unit to ensure that CWB related indicators are properly monitored and lead the delivery of improved CWB report in coordination with other units of the organization.
