As a Program Lead, the candidate will:

1. Serve as the primary point of contact with USAID, and be responsible for quality control of the program;
2. Provide technical leadership for program activities including designing, implementing, and monitoring activities;
3. Build and manage relationships with partners and USAID counterparts in Thailand, including meeting with USAID regarding the program’s performance;
4. Supervise a multi-cultural team of staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant advanced degree in international development, social science, and conflict mitigation (including social cohesion and reconciliation), public policy, or a related field of study;
• Minimum of 6-8 years of progressively responsible experience in international development, with managerial-level experience; 
• Demonstrated capabilities in high-level strategic planning and leadership, and experience working effectively with government officials, national and local government authorities, and USAID and/or other donors;
• Demonstrated leadership, and technical and administrative skills, particularly for USAID programs of similar size, scope, and complexity;
• Experience managing budgets and personnel, and motivating and supervising teams;
• Demonstrated experience working across ethnic, religious, and language identify groups, as well as marginalized populations such as women, youth, and other underserved groups;
• Previous experience managing USAID-funded programs highly preferred; and
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
