YOUTH SPORTS COORDINATOR

Do you love sports? Would you like to train young people how to play football, volleyball, basketball and other team sports? Then join us!

You will be part of Friends-International’s team in Thailand (Peuan Peaun) comprised of 15 professionals committed to creating innovative social services for youth, children and families in Thailand.

Peuan Peaun is starting an exciting new project where we will use sport to engage young people living in the communities. The goal is to give them an opportunity to play sports instead of engaging in risky behaviors such as drugs and having problems with the law.

What will you do?

As Youth Sports Coordinator you will be organizing different sport activities with young people from the communities and shelter in Bangkok and support them to have a healthy and fun lifestyle.

About you:

• You have a strong interest in working with marginalized youth (for example youth in poor communities, using drugs, in conflict with the law etc.)
• You have good understanding about youth issues
• You have work experience in training someone how to play sports
• You are a dynamic team player
• You have previous experience in organizing activities for youth to play and socialize (for example sports tournaments, sport practices and lessons, etc.)

You will be our full-time employee based in Bangkok.
