The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V., a German non-governmental organisation with projects to promote democracy, to support civil society’s decision-making role, to strengthen economic as well as social stability, and to promote the rule of law in Thailand, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of

Researcher

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor degree in mass media communications, political sciences, social sciences, statistics or other related subjects

Responsibilities:

• Search for and collect information, both literally and online;
• Provide and write academic researches/reports/articles/summaries;
• Observe and collect information in a written form from meetings and seminars;
• Support project implementation with researched information;
• Assist and support the resident representative with researched information or other tasks as assigned;
• Report directly to the resident representative

Competence:

• A strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies;
• Fluency in written and spoken German, English, and native Thai;
• Ability to develop accurate, compelling research outputs on assigned issues;
• Excellent analytical and writing skills;
• Excellent computer proficiency including standard office software applications;
• Familiarity with organisational and administrative skills;
• Ability/willingness to occasionally travel to other domestic locations;
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Merits:

• Previous work experiences with international NGOs will be an advantage;
• Experience of working on analytical writing
