The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V., a German non-governmental organisation with projects to promote democracy, to support civil society’s decision-making role, to strengthen economic as well as social stability, and to promote the rule of law in Thailand, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of
Secretary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in arts, liberal arts, humanities or other related subjects
Responsibilities:
- Taking care of resident representative’s schedules and appointments;
- Administrative works such as telephone and hospitality service, office purchase, office maintenance supervision; office’s database updates, correspondence filing etc;
- Preparation of minutes and memos;
- Update and follow-up of the foundation’s webpage;
- Arrangement of hotel reservations, flight bookings, invitations;
- Translation/Interpretation from and into Thai, English, and German;
- Participation in events as assigned
Competence:
- Fluency in written and spoken German, English, and native Thai;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment;
- Ability to arrange priority and deliver work on time;
- Excellent computer proficiency including standard office software applications;
- Familiarity with organisational and administrative skills;
- Flexibility in working times;
- Ability to work under time pressure, if necessary
Merits:
- Previous work experiences with international NGOs will be an advantage;
- Experience of working on administrative and secretariat fields
