Raks Thai Foundation, a member of CARE International, that has been working in Thailand since 1979 in the area of emergency relief, community natural resources management, micro enterprise promotion, education, health and HIV/AIDS prevention and care for affected families has vacancies for:

Position : Senior Program Officer (Health) Based in Bangkok

The SPO is a key person in the Program Quality Department responsible for the  development and strengthening of Raks Thai's programs. Develops large scale proposals for new funding opportunities. Designs monitoring and evaluation systems and engage in the overall programmatic and financial monitoring and reporting.  Initiates and maintains relationships with key program partners, public and private agencies, as well as local and international donors.

Qualifications;

• Graduate bachelor or higher in Public Health, Political Science, Social Science or related fields.
• Minimum of five year working experiences in project design, monitoring and evaluation, and budgeting.
• Oral and written proficiency in English and Thai, and computer literacy (especially in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and effective communication skills combined with problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated strengths in planning and organizational skills with the ability to think and act strategically in the design and execution of programs, and conceptualize complex issues, and strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work and travel independently.
• Wide interest in social issues especially of disadvantaged groups and human rights.
