Baan Dek Foundation is looking for a professional and dedicated local DAO Partnership and Marketing  Officer  who is committed to helping vulnerable children from marginalized communities in Chiang Mai and Bangkok.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Type of Contract : Full-time position, 1-year contract (renewable)

Location                  : Based in Bangkok, Thailand

Working hours    : Monday to Friday (9am-6pm, with flexible schedule) + occasionally on weekends

Salary                        : Starting 25,000 THB, depends on experience and qualifications.

Starting date        : ASAP

Responsibilities include (but are not restricted to):

• Fundraise for Dao Social Enterprise by:
  • Developing & maintaining on-going communication with Dao’s current clients/donors/CSR partners
  • Sales at events, festivals and fairs that generate worthwhile contacts
  • Prospecting new donors interested in Dao’s products
  • Monitor and track all current and potential donors for Dao via the donor database, including monthly progress reports of expenditures vs. revenues to the Executive Director and Director of Strategy & Partnerships

• Help improve Dao Social Enterprise’s marketing and sales strategies by:
  • Offering suggestions and improvements on our current marketing strategy
  • Helping produce a Dao social media strategy
  • Compiling a more thorough analysis of the market, opportunity assessment & market personas
  • Collecting feedback from donors via Google forms to provide a through understanding of their needs and wants
  • Strategically advertising Dao’s platform online to CSR & corporate markets via blogs, articles, sustainability-focused news in Asia
  • Proofreading all of Dao’s online content in English (possibly Thai) based on the marketing strategy and in line with Dao’s value proposition and donor needs

• Provide support to the Executive Director, Dao Project Coordinator and BDF Partnerships Team to reach Dao's financial and marketing targets for 2019

Qualifications:

Nationality: Thai nationality preferred, dual citizenship an asset

Qualifications: Fundraising or corporate sales experience, with a particular focus on marketing studies (or studies in a relevant field).

Experience with social businesses, marketing, and communications is highly recommended.

Language:  Fluent, in Thai and English.

Strong social commitment, with a positive attitude and passion for locally-led start up projects. Ability to work and live in a multi-cultural environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong start up mentality or sales mindset, be highly motivated and creative, as well as flexible and independent in their work ethic.
