ADRA Thailand is currently seeking a Thai national for the position of Human Resources and Admin Assistant to work at the Support Office in Chiang Mai to work in the Administrative Department of ADRA Thailand
Responsibilities:
- Prepare application for staff visa requests to Ministry of Interior (MOI) and Chiang Mai Social Development and Human Security Office for passport holders and their eligible dependents
- Prepare work permit documents for new applications and renewals
- Track and manage all visa and work permit information and expiry dates
- Remind 90 day notice for passport holders
- Coordinate with Ministry of Interior (MOI) to complete monthly and annually camp pass applications for staff
- Create the good working environment (Health, Safety and Security) from HR function
- Ensure the understanding of staff about compensation, tax, benefits, etc.
- Visit project sites as required to represent HR Section
- Maintenance of staff database and personal documents and other HR files
- Prepare payment request for all work related HR working process
- Build good relationships with staff, Royal Thai Government and other agencies related to visas, work permits, camp passes and routine HR-related matters
- Provide supports/ facilitate in staff retreat
- Provide support to Human Resources Manager in collecting all completed Timesheets and Leave Request from all staff for review and keep record
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned by Supervisor
Preferred candidates are expected to fulfil the following:
- Ability to work in a Christian context
- Aged 23+ years
- Bachelor Degree in one or more of the following : Human Resources, Management, Administrative field
- Experience in visa extension and work permit application and renewal
- Ability to successfully develop a human resource database and systems
- Understanding of diversity in working environment
- Strong understanding and ability to conduct training in Workplace Health Safety and Security
- Ability to handle work efficiently and accurately under time constraints
- Strong computer skills (Including Microsoft Office proficiency)
- Current driver’s license for a car a must
- Excellent public relation and communication skills
- Excellent English competencies
- Hands on and able to perform work independently
