Senior Regional Program Support Specialist – Church Relations (Partnership and Partner Preparations)

This position provides expert comprehensive consulting on, holistic child development as well as the highest level of expertise in all subspecialties in this field. Leads major initiatives in program design. At this career level, the incumbent consults with senior leadership and leads major or complex program support initiatives. Work performed by this incumbent has direct impact on the entire region and may be global. Further, he or she frequently coaches and oversees the work of other specialists and related staff and provides expertise across levels and disciplines.

Within their area(s) of expertise, this will serve as a SME for regional leadership in the area of Partnership Management Core process, Supports regional roll-outs of Partnership Management expectations and their subsequent implementation, Monitors each NOs performance against Partnership Management core process expectations, Mobilizes stakeholders to contribute to the design and improvement of PM sub-processes to successfully implement Compassion’s partnership philosophy and strategy and supports Global Program’s Church engagement/planting strategy in the region.

This position will also support the preparations of the Churches for future expansion and growth in the region. And will oversee Church planting initiatives in the region.

Requisites:

• Mature Christian person, based on evangelical Christian values, has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is above reproach in integrity and honesty.

• Ideally ministry experience with churches as partners.  But other partnership management experience will be relevant and acceptable
• Work experience & Education  -10 -12 years’ experience working in this or similar position or field. Relevant education in this field would be preferable.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Work environment - Office – Standard Office Environment
• Physical demands -Sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to 8 hours per day
• Travel requirements -May be required to travel up to 10-15% of normal schedule
