Intern Project: Supply Chain
Department: Support Services / Program
Period of Intern: 4 months
Background
Save the Children’s Thailand Country Office is seeking and internship to Support Supply Chain Team in Bangkok. The Intern is required to understanding policies and procedure and learning the day-to-day operation comply with Save the children rules and regulations will be the most efficiency way of working and indirectly toward the beneficiaries and children throughout the requirement period from June to September 2019.

Supply Chain Support
|
- To facilitate data input of supplier database, procurement tracker, fleet tracker, other procurement related documents (both hard copies and e-copies) to comply with documentation requirements for reporting/donor compliance
- Simple sourcing and market survey of goods and services
- Ensures proper documentation of all Supply Chain processes are follow by SCI standard
- Maintain files or record of suppliers are up to date in the Procurement file
- Support in the procurement processes
- Asset Management – assisting for data input and monitoring for the asset registration
- Stock Management – assisting for data input and monitoring for the stock record and documentation

- The SC Reports are up-to-date and met with the deadline
- The outcome of procurement procedure are complied with policies

Management
The Intern will report to Supply Chain Officer
Time Frame
June to October 2019 (minimum 20 to maximum 25 working days/month)
Payment
Daily rate based on working days of each month
Qualification
- Higher Vocational Certificate or Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Business Administration, Social Science or related fields
- One year of HR and/or administrative experience, preferably with focus on logistics and admin.
- Familiarity with Save the Children System is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Good working knowledge in English and Thai
- Good computer skill (MS Office)
The role holder is required to carry out the duties in accordance with SCI Health and Safety policies and procedures.
