ABOUT THE TIJ

Building on Thailand’s engagement in the UN Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) was established in 2011 with the aim to promote excellence in research and capacity-building in the area of criminal justice. The institute serves as a bridge that transports global ideas to local practices. The primary objective is to promote the implementation of United Nations Rules for the Treatment of Women Prisoners and Non-custodial Measures for Women Offenders (the Bangkok Rules) as well as other United Nations standards and norms related to women and children in contact with the criminal justice system.

As a member of the United Nations Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Programme Network Institute (UNPNI), TIJ also gears its work towards important cross-cutting issues on the United Nations agenda such as the rule of law, sustainable development, human rights, peace and security. At the same time, it works toward enhancing domestic justice system and the rule-based community within the ASEAN region.

JOB PURPOSE

To develop and direct the creation and implementation of organization public communication and knowledge management strategies in order to effectively promote the organization and its products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Graphic Design:

- Survey needs of internal customers and plan annual work schedule with quarterly update
- Graphic design, layout and production of corporate materials, corporate events, online activities and promotion materials such as brochures, leaflets, posters, flyers, research publications, roll-ups, exhibition boards, company information boards, OKM banners, info graphics, online post designs, TIJ online library, TIJ website, TIJ Intranet, TIJ Facebook, New Year gifts, souvenirs, etc.
- Comments and suggestions on graphic design and video works of suppliers, as TIJ matter expert.

Multi Media:

- Video clips: shooting, editing; and posting on YouTube (on projects as required).
- Audio clips: voice recording, voice editing; and posting on targeted channels.
- Photography of TIJ, ROLD and other related events with TIJ top management.
- View & comment on multi-media works of suppliers as TIJ matter expert.

Others:

- Guardian of TIJ corporate identity
- Production of corporate and promotion materials, coordination with suppliers
- Supervision of content placements on organisation boards
- Photo Bank: gather and store “all photos” in “shared drives and Line albums” for timely and easy access of people in need of the materials
- Multi-Media Bank: gather and store “all multimedia materials” in “shared drives” for timely and easy access of people in need of the materials.
- Paper works of activities related to your tasks
- Manage Budget and logistics of all owned projects.
- Other tasks as assigned.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE

- Diploma of high vocational education / Bachelor's degree or higher in Fine Arts, Industrial Design, ICT or related fields
- Capable of using the computer programmes (MacBook) as follows: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere pro, After effect
- Photography and video shooting skills
- Experience on graphic design and multi-media production
- Work experience on social media is an advantage
- Attention to details, able to work on schedule, and under pressing timeline
- Logical thinking, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
- Team player, service mind
