The USAID Green Invest Asia project – implemented by Pact Inc. and its partners – aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by catalyzing private sector finance to upscale and drive investment in the agriculture, forestry, and other land use (AFOLU) sector toward low-emission yet profitable business models. The USAID Green Invest Asia project is seeking motivated and dynamic individuals for a Business Development Officer position to join the team in the Bangkok, Thailand office.
SUMMARY
The ideal candidate has a passion for, and knowledge of, environmental sustainability, excellent analytical and communication (both oral and written) skills, and be adept at managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. S/he will be responsible for supporting the development of a pipeline of investments in land use and sustainable land management in the AFOLU sector in the Southeast Asia region (initial target countries include Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines). S/he will perform a variety of qualitative and quantitative research and analyses and summarize these into accessible documents. The Officer reports to the Senior AFOLU Advisor and collaborates with other team members as appropriate.
