ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Community Field Officer for Keep Girls Safe (KGS) based in Mae Lao, Chiang Rai, Thailand

Job Location: Mae Lao, Chiang Rai, Thailand

Full time/part time: Full time

Reporting: Reports to Project Manager with no supervisory responsibilities

REQUIREMENT

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor Degree

Experience: 2 – 3 year experience in community or experience in positions equal to the position responsibilities outlined below

Language Skills: Strong Thai verbal and written skills

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work in a Christian context
• Must have strong operational management skills
• Understanding of diversity in working environment
• Ability to handle work efficiently and accurately under time constraints
• Strong computer skills (Including Microsoft Office proficiency)
• Excellent public relation and communication skills
• Hands on and able to perform work independently
• Experience working with school teachers, children and communities
• Valid driver’s license for a car a must

REPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates community scholarship activities in target schools
• Work closely with teachers, parents and guardians in the target communities in the process of assessing and selecting qualified candidates for scholarships
• Organize meeting with teachers, parents, guardians and students as needed
• Conduct life skills training and events for community scholarship students
• Develop contracts with each student who receives scholarship
• Ensure scholarship funds are disbursed in a timely manner
• Ensure scholarship funds are used for the purposes intended through regular communication with the teachers in charged
• Communicate with schools that shelter girls are attending and ensure scholarships are disbursed to schools in a timely manner
• Design activities and presented the plan to Project Manager     
• Provide monthly report on community activities to Project Manager
• Perform other tasks as required by the Project Manager
